How we work

One cycle, five stages.

Full traceability from the farm to the final product — and from the offcuts to a new use.

01

Origin

Our own farm in Upala, Alajuela, operating since 2014. Forest management with SINAC traceability and 1:5 reforestation — for every tree harvested, five new ones are planted.

02

Transformation

The tree goes through milling and drying at our transformation center. Every log is planned to extract the maximum possible value before becoming a product.

03

Main product

The best-quality wood becomes floors, furniture, decking and formwork — Foresta's highest value-added products.

Offcuts

Cuts, trims and off-specification wood are not discarded: they become firewood, aromatic chunks and decorative mulch.

Zero waste
05

New use

Those offcuts reach homes and restaurants as firewood for BBQ, smoking chunks and garden mulch — closing the cycle with maximum value extracted from every tree.
